My Indoorsy Side

Hello again :) Well, there is one more thing I did yesterday afternoon and that is all said in this picture! My sister and I are avid crafters (her moreso than I) and we are always looking for a new craft. We started making flowers a couple years ago as hair clips and pins to sell at a local craft fair in the fall. These flowers are cute, however they are rather time consuming (small picture)
This past weekend my sister purchased a felt flower to show me we have a new pattern to work on for the winter. All you have to do to create one of these simple and cute flowers is cut 6 circles out of your choice color of felt, about 2 1/2 to 3 inches in diameter, depending on how big you want your flower to be, cut around the edges of the circle to make them wavy (this adds the effect of petals), then fold the flowers in half twice and hot glue! I hot glue the inside center when I folded the flower in half and then again in the second fold, then cut a smaller circle to glue four of the petals to, making a circle, and stand the last two up in the middle and glue them in! the whole process took about 20 minutes and it was my first one! of added detail you could bedazzle your petals or add leaves. Pins or hair clips could be glued or sewn to the back for a cute purse or hair decoration :)
